Step 4 glass polishing pads are part of the professional Glass Restore step-by-step restoration system.

Glass Restore is designed as one complete process rather than a collection of unrelated polishing pads. The technician selects the correct starting Step based on the condition of the glass and then continues through every required following Step.

Step 4 is used after the earlier correction Steps and may also be selected as the starting point when the damage does not require Step 1, Step 2 or Step 3.

How Step 4 Is Used

Step 4 may be used in several sequences:

Step 1 → Step 2 → Step 3 → Step 4 → Step 5 → Step 6

Step 2 → Step 3 → Step 4 → Step 5 → Step 6

Step 3 → Step 4 → Step 5 → Step 6

When stronger correction is not required, the technician may begin directly with:

Step 4 → Step 5 → Step 6

The correct starting Step always depends on the damage. The Step number does not mean that every restoration must begin with Step 1.

When Step 4 is selected as the starting point, test the glass first. If Step 4 does not provide enough correction, move back to Step 3 or another appropriate earlier Step. After the damage is corrected, continue forward through the complete sequence.

One Complete Glass Restoration System

Using random polishing pads can create uncertainty about where to begin, what to use next and whether the restoration process has been completed correctly.

The Glass Restore system provides a clear workflow:

• Select the starting Step based on the glass damage
• Test whether the selected Step provides enough correction
• Move back to an earlier Step when necessary
• Continue through every following Step in sequence
• Complete the restoration with Step 6

Every Glass Restore pad is clearly marked with its Step number, making the system easier to organize, teach and repeat on professional jobs.

The pads are designed to be used together. Beginning with Step 4 does not mean the restoration is complete after Step 4. The technician must continue through Step 5 and Step 6 to complete the Glass Restore process.
