STOREFRONT GLASS RESTORATION
Your Storefront Is Your First Impression. Damaged Glass Reads As “Closed”.
Acid etching, scratched tags, scraper marks and construction damage all do the same thing to a retail frontage: they make an open business look abandoned.
Customers notice it before they notice your sign.
One thing worth knowing about Los Angeles: the City defines graffiti to include etched and scratched glass.
But its free abatement program generally covers what is visible from the public right-of-way. It does not extend to replacing or restoring your storefront glass.
In practice the business pays. The sooner it is handled, the cheaper it stays.
Replacing a large storefront panel means custom tempered glass, lead time, a crew, sometimes a permit and street closure — often several thousand dollars and weeks of a damaged frontage.
Restoration is done in place, usually within a day, and it leaves no lens effect or distortion.
We handle retail, restaurants, dealerships, offices and property management across Los Angeles. Early mornings before opening, nights after closing, weekends. Invoicing to the company, W-9 on request.
Text a photo of the damage to 818-356-1345. We will tell you within the hour whether it restores, and how fast we can be there.
Questions we get asked
Will the glass look wavy or distorted where you worked?
Not when it is done properly. Distortion comes from removing too much in one spot — the step system exists to spread the work evenly across the pane, and the temperature checks are there for the same reason.
Could the pane crack while you work on it?
Heat is what cracks glass, not the polishing itself. Our crews watch surface temperature while they work; it is the difference between a restored pane and a broken one.
How long does it take, and do you have to close the store?
Most storefront jobs are done in a single visit — usually one to two hours on site. A larger frontage takes longer, and once we know the pane count a closer window goes in the written estimate. We work early mornings before opening, nights after closing and weekends, so the shop keeps trading.
Why restore instead of replacing the glass?
Replacing a frontage panel means custom tempered glass, a lead time, a crew and sometimes a permit, while the damaged glass stays in your window. Restoration is done in place, on the pane already in the frame, without disturbing the seals. If replacement is genuinely the better answer for your glass, we will tell you that instead of selling you the work.
What do you need from me to quote it?
Photos and a count. One shot of the whole frontage, then a close-up at an angle with light across the glass. Tell us how many panes and the address, and a written estimate comes back the same day.
