Wiper scratches, sand, failed washes and vandalism leave marks that catch the light every time you drive into the sun. On most cars replacing the windshield is the simple answer.

On rare and expensive cars it is not. A Porsche windshield runs $500–$2,000 aftermarket and up to around $3,900 at the dealer — when it is in stock at all. On classic and collector cars the glass is frequently not manufactured any more, and there is nothing to order.

That is where restoration is not the cheap option — it is the only one. We polish out scratches optically, without distortion, keeping the original factory glass in the car. For a collector vehicle that also means keeping it original.

We are selective on purpose. We take exotic, classic, luxury and rare vehicles where replacement is expensive, slow or impossible. If you drive a common car with a cracked windshield, replacement will be cheaper and we will tell you that honestly rather than sell you work you do not need.
